Welcome to Junction West Vallecito RV Park, your peaceful getaway nestled just five minutes from Vallecito Lake access. We offer 100 transient RV sites, including both back-in and pull-through options, accommodating RVs up to 45 feet in length.
From our wooded and secluded RV park, you can walk to the Vallecito Lake dam, which has a scenic path and lookout area. Plus, we’re just 15 minutes from downtown Bayfield and 30 minutes from Durango – providing the perfect balance of seclusion and accessibility.
Amenities include laundry facilities, showers, cable TV, and recreational features like horseshoes, a pavilion, communal firepit, playground, camp store, basketball, library and a Main Hall (available for rent.) On select weekends, enjoy entertainment or activities right at the park. Pets are welcome here, with a limit of two per site, so your furry companions can join in the adventure.
Surrounded by the beauty of Vallecito Lake, our RV park is a haven for boating, fishing, and hiking enthusiasts. Boat parking is allowed on your RV site (if it fits), or we have overflow parking available.

RV Sites may be booked daily, weekly, monthly, or for the season.
We offer a 10% discount on daily RV Site rates for active Military, veterans, first responders, and Good Sam members.

Note: WiFi is available in designated areas of the campground. However, please be aware that due to natural surroundings, the connection may not be as strong or reliable as it would be in urban settings.
Our proximity to Vallecito Lake makes us a prime spot for groups and rallies. We also have cabins, so if you are traveling with people who don’t have an RV, there are accommodations for them too.
We have two gathering places – the open-air pavilion and Main Hall. Depending on the size of your rally, we include a certain number of hours in the Main Hall as part of the rally package.
On property, we have a camp store with RV supplies, groceries, fishing supplies, souvenirs, clothing, ice cream, and firewood. In Bayfield, there is a small grocery store, Dollar General, restaurants, a brewery, gas stations, and a charming Main Street. The Vallecito Marina has fishing and boating supplies.
